File transfer settings

Access	Configuration Categories →  DROPS - Deployment Process →  File Transfer Settings

If the transfer of artifacts fails, DROPS will retry the transfer. Before trying to re-transfer the file, DROPS will check if the remote agent is reachable. If not, DROPS will retry to reconnect. Define the number of attempts for each of these situations in the File Transfer Settings configuration page.

Transfer Attempts

The number of whole-file transfer attempts to make before concluding that a transfer has failed. This settings may be influenced by the Max transfer attempt count option.

Connection Attempts

The number of time the DROPS Server will try to reconnect to the DROPS Agent if the artifact transfer process fails. After the connection is (re)established, the transfer will then be retried.

Delay between reconnection attempts

The time between two re-connection attempts in milliseconds (ms).
