When a deployment process is executed, pre-defined variables are used to create an ID for the deployment process instance and a time stamp. Validation can also be required for certain instances. Messages sent to validators follow the basic template defined.

Open the  Deployment Instances menu to define these templates.

Field Description
Transaction ID Template This template creates the Transaction ID for every deployment process instance. Use a static format in addition to variables to create IDs your team will recognize.
Time Format The time format is used to replace the ${time} variable. Modify it using y (year), M (month), d (day), H (hour), m (minute) and s (second) and/or S (millisecond) placeholders.
Validation Notification Template

Customize the automatic emails that DROPS sends to the user(s) assigned to validating processes and Plans and resolving suspended actions and interruption messages. These email templates are used whenever DROPS sends an automatic email informing a user that a process requires validation or has been suspended. The default subject/body of validation emails defined here can be overridden by writing process-specific messages in a deployment process diagram’s properties. The default messages in suspension and interruption emails can not be overridden and so the content defined here is essential.
